Panasonic TVs

While other TV makers are focusing more on flat panel LCD TVs and rear projection models, Panasonic is hands-busy with their own line of plasma HD televisions. Panasonic’s other TV units though are still doing well in the market. Excellence in technology, price consistency and the knack for innovations are the factors that keep customers coming back for more Panasonic TVs.

Panasonic LCD TV

For people who want smaller screen sizes for their televisions, the best choice is the Panasonic LCD TV. Although Panasonic is known for its plasma lineup, its family of LCD models is rapidly leaving the shelves. Just recently, Panasonic has released a five-unit line up to match with those from the major competitors. Panasonic’s new fleet of LCD televisions has diagonal screen lengths from 19 to 32. The price range is between $700 and $1,900 but it varies from region to region. Major highlights of this new lineup include HDMI for large units and component video input.

So as not to compete with other Panasonic TVs such as the best selling plasma TV, the largest so far in their LCD TV family is 32 inches. It’s a factory rule for Panasonic not to produce LCD TVs wider than thirty seven inches. What’s great with their LCD models is that they are relatively less expensive than their rivals. It’s good to know also that Panasonic is not reducing prices with their LCD TVs, a good indication that their products are really performing well in the market. Despite this however, reviewers believe Panasonic will trim down the production of their LCD TVs.

The only drawback of the Panasonic LCD television is that it has no PC input unlike other LCD TVs in the market.

Panasonic Plasma TV

Panasonic is the hottest name in the plasma TV market for three reasons: above excellent image quality, biggest fleet of plasma TVs and the leader in price cut down. Yes, Panasonic is without a doubt, the leader in plasma TV making. As of 2005, Panasonic produced plasma TV models more than other TV manufacturers had ever made. Panasonic plasma TV lineup is superb in picture quality, a top choice for most home theater buffs. And of course, Panasonic was able to cut the crap, and lead the pack in trimming down plasma TV price tags sweeping all plasma brands. As reviewers call it, Panasonic is undisputedly the Plasma TV to beat.

Panasonic’s Plasma television lineup is grouped into two. The first group is called the consumer and other is called the professional category. Under the professional category, the two units TH-PHD8UK and the TH-PWD8UK are designed primarily for commercial purposes. Despite this however, the general public developed great interest on these models. Ordinary consumers found out that these products are less costly than other plasma brands in the market. These models also allow more upgradeable inputs and more customization adjustments for picture quality.

The drawback however is on the speakers and tuners. Other Plasma Panasonic TVs that have earned good reviews are the fifty inch TH-50PHD8UK and the thirty seven inch TH-37PHD8K. In the mean time, the consumer group offer more industry standard features and unique styles.

Rear Projection Panasonic TV

Panasonic TV’s rear projection models are at par with the world’s best brands. However in 2005, Panasonic has only had a couple of models released under this category. Despite their focus on plasma production, Panasonic was still able to pull it off in the rear projection market. The smallest screen size for this category is 44 inches while the widest is 61 inches. The least can cost $2,000 and the most expensive can have a price tag of $3,500. The good side includes PC input while the bad side includes the absence of a TV guide.

All the more the last two years have been a good year for Panasonic. Given their price advantage in the market, added with consistent picture quality, a wider array of TV models and a good knack for tele-viewing innovation, Panasonic will remain to be one among the top TV makers in the world especially in plasma production.
